The Evolution of a Dream That Starts With Crayons
We all started with crayons, or perhaps
finger painting. In time, we graduated to more complicated methods of creating
something. Each new experience opens up a new door to new methods, new
materials, new ways of seeing things, and new ways of creating a product in the
physical world that we can clearly envision in our mind's eye. It is such a
natural process that we are not necessarily aware of it until much of the
learning experience has passed.

Interesting analogy. I look at one's life as a tapestry. Each deed, learning experience, tragedy or any other life experience indelibly entwined with the whole.
ReplyDeleteCrayons on paper (and sometimes walls) are indelible and are impossible to erase. With Crayons or a tapestry, you cannot take out or pick and choose the life events that comprise your work of art. To try to remove those events or ignore them results in leaving gaping holes or smudges that should not be there.
